I quote some random person, 'We let songs control our lives too much." And how apparently, it's the only thing that can. The thing about musical is, it makes you happy. This time, put the A in A-------bba. :)
Most of us sort of grew up listening to at least one ABBA song. To name afew, there's 'Dancing Queen', 'Mamma Mia', 'Money, Money, Money' and so much more great tracks from the legendary group. And NO, 'Dancing Queen' was not sung by A*teens. I'd kill anybody who thought it was.
Mamma Mia! in a scope: For all Sophie's life, she wanted to find out who's her father. She chanced upon reading her mother's diary and found out there are actually 3 possible candidates! She thought it'd be a great surprise to invite all 3 of them to her wedding and also have her real father give her away at her wedding. This film is filled with quirks, fun, laughter, tears and alot of ABBA.
I'm trying not to give away too much of the film but to all movie-goers out there, Mamma Mia is another must-watch films in 2008. This film's so colourful, it made me want to put on some glitter, flashy outfit and do some funny chicken retro dance. And who knew Meryl Streep could actually sing? ........... and Pierce Brosnan couldn't? If you're afraid it might turn out to be too girlie, I assure you, you're just in for some good, crazy fun. Enjoy the most of it.
Word of Caution: This film is not for the EMOs. It's way too happy, it might just kill you there and then.
And lastly, Thank you for the Music. :)
PS: Enjoy the Mamma Mia playlist at the corner, if you think it's too cheesy and annoying, easy: turn it off. Cheers.
Xoxo,
April

Film: The Dark Knight
2008 is already half-way done and it's the time where you choose a film that made an impact on you - My choice is "The Dark Knight".
Based on the fictional DC Comics character Batman, this sequel to 2005's Batman Begins, is directed by Christopher Nolan and explores Batman's fight against the Joker (played by Ledger) and his strained friendship with district attorney Harvey Dent (Eckhart).
Filmed primarily in Chicago (as was Batman Begins), and in several other locations in and outside the United States, The Dark Knight marks the return of the Joker. Interestingly, the role attracted the attention of actors like Paul Bettany, Lachy Hulme, Adrian Brody, Steve Carell, and Robin Williams, who publicly expressed interest in the role. However, Ledger bagged the role, which he described as 'psychopathic, mass murdering, schizophrenic clown with zero empathy'.
I never liked The Batman as a child. He was never my hero. His leather suit/outfit just didn't do for me. Never liked my hero to be in a rubber suit. There is alot of anticipation for The Dark Knight, I decided to give it a shot before making any judgment. And after watching it, I decide that Heath Ledger should be nominated for an Oscars for his role as The Joker. His face is caked with moldy makeup that highlights the red scar of a grin, the grungy hair and the yellowing teeth of a hound fresh out of hell. If there is a movement to get him an Oscar Nomination, it's only the right thing to do.
On the other hand, I feel sad that the first time I took notice of Heath Ledger was in his last film. I felt sad right after the movie. There could be noone who could've impersonate The Joker as well as he did. He was insanely brilliant. Christopher Nolan knew it has to be Heath to take up the role as Joker. Heath had it in him. As compared to Jack Nicholson's interpretation of Joker, which was fun, cartoon-liked and over the top; Heath's was scary. It was tongue-flickingly scary.
I sort of guessed why I didnt like Batman as a child. He was the one superhero with NO superpowers. He couldn't fly without his batman automated wings, or swing from one building to another, neither can he read minds. Without his rubber suit, he is just like anyone of us. Unlike Superman or Spiderman, Bruce Wayne was a known businessman who always has a hot supermodel clinging at his arm. A multi-millionaire who's not only flamboyant and cocky, but the least you can think of as a Silent Guardian who break laws to protect the people of Gotham in the night. He doesn't mind being the guy with the blame because Batman has to do what he has to do. Christian Bale was indeed the anchor of the film.

There was too much hype about the movie. Especially after Heath Ledger's sudden death, everyone was expecting so much from the movie which levels up the anticipation. I am glad to say tat the film did not disappoint. Having to sit through 2.5 hours, this better be good. It better be always this good.
The movie left us with no doubt that there will be sequel and I'm sure the next person to cast as Joker will not only be pressurized to outdo Heath and if he did, it will also get him a golden ticket to being one of Hollywood's A-list. My bet is on Paul Bettany who also starred in The Da Vinci Code as Silas.
Supporting roles in the movie was also quite refreshing. There’s Maggie Gyllenhaal as Rachel Dawes… which I'm not so sure if she should have been chosen to replace Katie Holmes, maybe less vase-liked (if you realised, she has this signature S-liked body curve when she stands)? Michael Caine and Morgan Freeman reprise their roles as Alfred Pennyworth and Lucius Fox, both offered a good amount of humour when there was so much of commotion going on between the Batman and Joker.
Aaron Eckhart as Harvey Dent gave the film more texture as to experiencing the Good VS Bad battle. Harvey Dent who was upright and just, the best man to serve the country in law and order. However after the loss of the person whom he loves the most, brought him to another extreme to believing that there is no just, no law which cost him his righteous-ness.
Other than the superb computer effects, trailer-turning, exploding buildings - There is a message to be brought across. There's a chinese saying that says - Kill 1 to save a 100. We have to lose to gain. That's the spirit Batman has - 牺牲小我,完成大我。

Sex and The City OST
I know it’s a little too late for this but to those who caught Sex and the City, good on you because both Muhu and I loved it! There’re many, many reviews on the movie, you can just Google it to find a decent review. (The movie is off screens already anyway)
To sum it up, SATC is about 4 beautiful and equally successful women from the hit series Sex and the City reviewing about their take on relationships, family, careers and life. With much said and heard, the movie is closure to the 6 seasons long TV series, ending with Carrie finally with Mr. Big. (Their on and off relationship lasted 6 seasons, that’s how complicated.)
What are the elements that make up a movie? Other than the cinematography, the visuals, the soundtracks of the movie could bring more depths to it than you think. Can you imagine sitting through a movie without music at the background? What makes a movie complete is the fantastic soundtrack that comes along with it – The soundtracks make or break the movie.
SATC’s original soundtrack is made up of 14 tracks:
Labels or Love (Fergie)
All Dressed In Love (Jennifer Hudson)
The Look Of Love -Madison Park vs Lenny B Remix (Nina Simone)
New York Girls (Morningwood)
All This Beauty (The Weepies)
I Like The Way (Kaskade)
It's Amazing (Jem)
How Deep Is Your Love (The Bird & The Bee)
The Heart Of The Matter (India.Arie)
Auld Lang Syne (Mairi Campbell & Dave Francis)
Kissing (Bliss)
How Can You Mend A Broken Heart (Al Green featuring Joss Stone)
Walk This Way (Run-D.M.C. featuring Steve Tyler and Joe Perry of Aerosmith)
Sex and the City Movie Theme (The Pfeifer Broz. Orchestra)
Mainly remakes of old classics and a couple of new tracks by few most noted artistes.
Labels or Love is a fast number by Fergie. This track aptly sings about what Carrie said at the opening of the Movie about women who left where they’re from and moved in to the Big Apple for two Ls – Labels and Love. For women without Love, or still searching, would lavish themselves with the expensive labels – bags, clothes, and shoes! This is definitely one great summer track to dance to. It’s chirpy and upbeat, not unusual for Fergie to sing it.
All Dressed in Love is my favourite track from the album. It’s jazzy and sexy. It’s one of those feel-good songs that would put you in a great mood for the rest of the day.
Cool in the summer, warm in the winter
I’m all dressed up in love
And I’m cool in the summer, warm in the winter
Speaking of Jennifer Hudson, she has grown so much from being that ousted Amercian Idol to Dream girls to SATC’s Louise. She has blossomed so much as a singer as well as an actress. She truly deserved all that she has right now.
If you’re a ballad’s kinda person, you might like The Heart of the Matter by India Arie which was originally by Don Henley. This is actually another feel-good song, about growing up and moving on from a situation that has bothered you for a time long enough, especially matters that concern the heart.
I've been learning to live without you now
But I miss you sometimes
The more I know, the less I understand
All the things I thought I knew, I'm learning them again
I've been tryin' to get down to the Heart of the Matter
But my will gets weak
And my thoughts seem to scatter
But I think it's about forgiveness
Forgiveness
Even if, even if you don't love me anymore
This track was played when Carrie ran away from Big after he chicken-ed out from the wedding.
The other tracks are mostly remakes, which I think is subject to personal preference. I enjoyed the collaboration of Al Green and Joss Stone for the song, How do you mend a broken heart. It’s a new twist to an old classic. This is the track played when Miranda and Steve met at the Brooklyn bridge to give their marriage another try. Also a remake of How Deep is your Love by The bird and the bee which was just as refreshing. A different take other than the Bee Gees.
If you enjoyed the movie, you might just enjoy this album as well.
Are you Carried away yet?

Dinner Review - Cross Keys Wine Bar and Restaurant
Dinner Review – Cross Keys Wine Bar and RestaurantSituated at 117A Killiney Road, opposite Lee Wei Song School of Music and follow up a flight of stairs and there it is – A new makan place to bring your partner, friends and family.
The place is relatively small but cozy. My girlfriends and I were served warmly by their staffs and were given couch seats by the window. The view outside the window may not be fantastic at all but for the amount of money we spent, who really cares about what’s outside the window?
What we had:
2 set dinners @ $18 nett (1 starter and 1 main course each)
Vitamin Salad
Soft Shell Crab
Snapper fillet with lemon butter sauce
Ribeye Steak
We also ordered an ala cart Avocado Crab meat for $10 nett
For desserts, we had a Chocotizer – double scoop chocolate ice cream with brown bits
We paid about $19 each for 3 people.
Plus points:
The lemon butter sauce for our fillet was beyond my expectation. It wasn’t too buttery or oily. It was just nice. In fact you can taste a tinge of sweetness that goes well with the Snapper.
The ribeye steak was moderately okay. The steak wasn’t too tough. If I remembered correctly, it was served with pepper sauce which wasn’t bad.
The Avocado Crab Meat was really nice. It has an acquired taste which I can’t place a finger on it. It could be the fusion of avocado and crab meat but it came off well. I liked it.
Staffs were attentive to your needs. They were quick in clearing up your dishes and replacing them with new ones. Not to forget, they were also very friendly. Yesterday also happened to be Father’s Day Eve which explains why they were a little busier than usual. They also had a group of girls celebrating someone’s birthday.
There is no service charge or GST. And you don’t have to pay for water, which they also diligently refill once they noticed your glass is almost empty.
Restaurant may be a tad bit too small but it’s good for dinner chats. You can actually hear what your friends speak.
They also serve alcoholic drinks. Good thing? It’s not expensive. They’re reasonably priced and you can get a glass of decent champagne at $12. They also have a list of cocktails and house pours for you to choose from.
My Evaluation:
I generally like the place. I’d give it 7.5 out of 10. The food they serve is reasonably good. The portion may be a little too small but you pay for what you eat. I’d recommend weekenders to pay Cross Keys a visit if you’re on a tight budget yet you don’t want to go to your normal fast food chains or hawker centre. You can get tasty and affordable western food around town too. It is also one of those places you don’t mind visiting again to try the rest of the menu to see what else is good because it’s inexpensive and the service you get is more than expectation.

Soundtracks of the Summer
Here are just some tracks to listen to for this hot, hot summer. (but first, switch off our player lol)
No Air - Jordin Sparks Ft Chris Brown
Jordin Sparks the winner of American Idol 2006 has released her self titled debut album. No Air is her second single duet with R&B singer Chris Brown, followed by Tattoo (which is also another easy listening ballad). The song is produced by The UnderDogs and this 2nd single has helped Sparks' album rebound on the charts. (well, we all know that most idol winners don't make it that great after winning the title)
No Air is another cheesy number but surprisingly addictive. I enjoyed the video. The both of them looked so in love, so convincing, there's just no reason to not like this song.
"Tell me how I'm supposed to breathe with no air, Can't live, can't breathe with no air, That's how I feel whenever you ain't there that's no air, no air Got me out here in the water so deep, Tell me how you gonna be without me If you ain't here, I just can't breathe there's no air, no air"
During the finale of American Idol 7, Jordin Sparks and Chris brown sang the duet on stage. Jordin Sparks looked so in love with him but Chris Brown just doesn't seem to be reciprocating the feelings, maybe Rihanna's watching tv.
Violet Hill - Coldplay
British Rock band Coldplay has just recently released their latest album "Viva la Vida or Death and all his friends". Violet Hill is their first single. The band described the song to have a 'chalky and pastel feeling' which reminded him of his childhood. Whatever that means, this is one song you must have in your MP3.
On the Coldplay official website, 'Violet Hill' was free to download for a week on April 29 (I swear they're regreting it now). The video of the song is filmed in Italy, which is weird because Violet hill is actually a hill in Hongkong. ;) This latest album is available on June 16. Go grab yours now.
"When the future's architectured, By a carnival of idiots on show, You'd better lie low, If you love me Won't you let me know?"
American Boy - Estelle Ft. Kanye West
British R&B singer, Estelle's American boy, featuring Kanye West is another summer must-have songs. Song produced by Will.I.Am. The song is chirpy and sexy, definitely something to keep you away from the heat and get you moving to the beat. The video is made black and white with Estelle and Kanye flirting lightly with each other on screen.
I just have 101 reasons to think Kanye's cool. Seriously? Seriously.
"Take me on a trip i'd like to go someday, Take me to new york, I'd love to see LA I really want to come kick it with you, you'll be my american boy"
4 minutes - Madonna Ft. Justin Timberlake
So this time she only has 4 minutes to save the world. For all of you Madonna fans out there couldn't have missed her first single for her newly released album 'Hard Candy', 4 minutes featuring J.T. This song is produced by Timbaland which is why you see alot his flava in this track. In an interview, Madonna was asked her collaboration with Timberlake and Timbaland. She said she had a hard time deciding who to work with for her new album and someone asked her whose music does she really like and she answered Justin Timberlake and Timbaland's, which is why she decided to work with both of them on this track.
4 minutes is definitely another dance track which Madonna is known for.
That's not my Name - The Tings Tings
You should probably by now hear this happy and cute track by The Ting Tings over the radio. The reason for this band name was because they used to have a chinese friend called Ting Ting and decided to name their band that because it was cute. Weird indie bands... with weird indie names.. just don't ask.
But! This track is cute and hard not to bob your head to. Really. You'll like it, trust me. For the record, I think THIS is MY summer song.
I can't show their official video because it was disallowed for embedding, but you can check out the song here. :)
Found your soundtrack of this Summer yet? ;)

American Idol Season 7 - 2008
David Cook crowned Winner by 12 million votes
The results are out – 25 year old Texas boy, David Cook is 2008’s American Idol. Last night was a battle between two boys who shared the same name and the same dream. Both Davids sang three songs – 1 chosen by Clive Davis, 1 new song and the last song would be one of the many songs they’ve sung throughout the whole season.
My thoughts – Both Davids deserved to win because they are both great talents who portrayed humility and marketability. (Both of them has never been in the bottom 3 throughout the whole competition)
I’ve never been that intense before. I sat before the television with no agenda in my mind; I just wanted to pay attention to their performance. For once, there were no clear signs of who the winner is. (The year where it was between Fantasia and Diana Degarmo, we knew the duck would surely win. It was all written over her face)
However, last night clearly little David Archuleta rocked the stage. He made clever song choices and displayed fantastic vocals. Singing ‘Imagine’ for his last song, he blew everyone away. If based on last night’s performance, Archuleta deserved to win. We could tell he really wants to win but unfortunately, little David did not. David Cook on the other hand did not receive much positive comments from mean judge Simon Cowell, won anyway.
Pardon me, I’m not saying David Cook doesn’t deserve it but we all knew even if Cook did not win the competition, he’ll get to do a record anyway. Plus, in a talent contest like AI, your final song is what make or break you. The results truly surprised me.
Archuleta’s fans should not be at all upset even though the 17 year old Vocal Prodigy David Archuleta (or so he was labeled) did not win the competition; this young boy will have many opportunities coming for him and he has already won many hearts of the teenage girls and their mothers who’d buy his album.
Anyway, both of them deserved it. And I’m proud of them because afterall it’s a fair play – May the Best Man wins. And the Best man did.
Just so you know that Cook is also the lead singer and guitarist of band ‘Axium’. We might be seeing another platinum selling rock band after Daughtry. Rock on, folks.

April: Movie Reviews - Made of Honour
So everyone thinks I'm obsessed -- obsessed over Patrick Dempsey who stars as 'Mcdreamy' Derek Shepard in Grey's Anatomy. I've been going through this GA marathon for weeks now and seriously, I'm addicted. Men in blue and what seemed deadly robes, never looked so yummy before (I guess that's Hollywood for you).So it's no surprise that I caught 'Made of Honour' over the weekend. And it's also NOT surprised that I drooled all over myself looking at Patrick Dempsey (Shoots, should have brought the damn bib!). Seriously, can anyone tell me how can one man look so fu*king good? Ok, let's get to the movie.
Made of Honour is a 90 minutes rom-com that tells a story of how Tom (played by Dempsey), a 24/7 flirt finds out that he's actually in love with his bestfriend Hannah (played by Michelle Monaghan) after all this time, when she left for Scotland for 6 weeks and went mad without her. Tom sworn to tell Hannah how he felt towards her and wants to be with her. But uh-oh! Hannah came back to NY with a Scotland husband-to-be duke! This is the fun part, Tom being Hannah's bestest friend was asked to be her MAID of honour and Tom is only doing it only to hope make Hannah realise he is the man for her. Yada yada, go watch the movie.
What I like best about the film is the choice of cast. (in all honesty, no biasness =/) Michelle Monaghan played the role effortlessly well, she was beautiful yet not in the superficial Hollywood way. She is by standard, definitely NOT the prettiest girl around Beverly Hills but she brought out the 'girl-next-door' qualities in her that I could easily relate to anyone around us. Michelle started her career as a model and has been on runways in Milan, Singapore, Tokyo and Hongkong!
And Patrick Dempsey was also the best man for the role because he's like a charm machine switched on all the time! The way he laughs, the way he walks, the way he looked into her/your eyes -- this is the kinda guy to play Tom.
Overall, the movie was pretty fun. Predictable like any rom-com but I'm sure you'll enjoy it as much as I did. Watch out for the guy in the tight short shorts.
Maybe there really is a place for romantic comedies. Only if every guy look as charming as Dempsey. -swoons!-
Next film possible? What Happens in Vegas. ;) Have a good week ahead!

April: Movie Reviews - Definitely, Maybe / Dance of the Dragon
So I see Muhu writing his own movie review on good ol' Ironman, I decided I better start contributing before my ass gets kicked real hard. Work has taken its toll on me, so I apologise for my absence. But I hope all's well for you cracked readers out there, enjoying the public holiday and it's saturday again! Time to party. BUT! Before you head down the swankiest club in town, let me share with you two movies I've caught over 2 weeks.Definitely, Maybe. - Starred with Ryan Reynolds (the guy who used to shag Alanis Morrissette and currently sleeping with Scarlett Johansson. Beat that, guys. Not that Alanis was really hot but YURH.) Isla Fisher, Rachel Weisz and Elizabeth Banks.
Definitely, Maybe is entertaining and highly enjoyable especially when Abigail Breslin is such a gem to watch. She's a rising star, possibly. We've still gotta watch her more. Quite predictable but also it keeps guessing whether you were right.
I liked how the show had three different types of woman - A blonde, a redhead and a brunette. And also the 3 different types of must-have kinda women that could most likely appear in your life.
I'd tell you the movie will keep you guessing till the end but IF you thought you got the answer correct, think again. Sometimes life has its own way to surprise you. Enjoy this flick, bring a date if you have to but most of all, ask yourself if you've missed out some chances in life that you could have done it again, would you? If there were things you could have said to someone you truly liked and couldn't live without, would you use this chance to turn back time and say what you have to?
Yes, time waits for no man. But there are always second chances. ;)

Two words: Don't watch.

April: Movie Reviews - Horton Hears a Who!
Hi guys! Thank you for all the comments for the review I did for Juno. I truly appreciate it. Okay, I’m not very good with my thank-you(s) so can I shut the crap and carry on with the next one?OKAY – ‘Horton hears a Who!’ in a nutshell: Horton (voiced by Jim Carrey) is an elephant (in case you don’t know this already) who’s imaginative and extremely kind, heard a voice from a speck of dust floating in the air and landed on a clover. So in this speck of dust, there lived people. Like real people. It contained a whole town called ‘Whoville’ with many little people living in it. The mayor of Whoville (voiced by Steve Carell) did not believe there’s a world bigger than their world but after talking to Horton, he realized that maybe he and his people may be in great danger after experiencing a great change in climate (darkness in the middle of the day and snow in summer). The mayor tried to warn his people of the impending doom but everyone refused to believe him and thought he was crazy so did Horton on his side of the world, nobody in the jungle believed that people actually lives on that speck of dust but he promised to put the speck in a safe place and out of danger.
Let me see a raise of hands of people who enjoyed an old classic cartoon called ‘Dumbo’ which was also a story of an elephant? (ME! ME! ME! ME!) I absolutely loved that story and I actually do believe that cranes deliver babies. But nevermind, that’s not the point. THE POINT IS, I love elephants because they’re always displayed as kind and loving animals despite their size and Horton is the epitome of it. Let me tell you a little bit about Horton – he flaps his big ears and swims with it. He thinks he lost a lot of weight because he swims too. Not only that, he’s also really kind and shares great things with the other animals in the jungle. (Remember ‘Share’ the pink elephant that was the icon of charity organization?) Horton may be big but he’d never hurt anything or anyone and he strongly believes in what he believes. That reminds me of something – an innocent child filled with imagination who’s so pure and not corrupted by the evils of the world. I quote Horton somewhere along the film, “I meant what I said and I said what I meant!”. An elephant is an elephant, one hundred percent.
And there is the Mayor of Whoville who is slightly eccentric; well the people who live in Whoville appear weird anyways! He has 96 daughters and 1 son named Jojo (Who all share a bathroom!) whom he wants to take over him as Mayor. But even as a Mayor, he has issues to deal with. He had a son who doesn’t talk at all (only because he’s afraid to say something to disappoint if he speaks) and he had a panel of people in the council who doesn’t believe him or took whatever he said seriously so he struggles hard to be a great Mayor to the people of Whoville. (I shall stop now to prevent anymore spoilers)
My take on the movie, this animated movie is an adaptation of Dr Seuss children’s book. It is very educational and is excellent for young children that’d give them a story to live by. But hey, when I say young children I’d like to believe anyone who still has a little bit of imagination should be entitled to watch the movie without being said you’re too old for it. A movie like this made me want to be a kid again because as far as I could recall when I was a kid, I had no worries but I was a warrior as I protected what I believe is right. I led my life in a world of my own with things I believed in (be it fairies, goblins, hobbits, ugly stepsisters, whatever it is in your world). But as we grew up, reality sets in, whatever we used to make believe are usually broken by truth and adults who’d tell us not to be ridiculous (and told to go back to your room). The movie shows the fine qualities such as faithfulness, trustworthiness and helpfulness like Horton who’s determined to help the people in Whoville no matter the consequences even though he was stopped by the evil Kangaroo by all means voiced by Carol Burnett.
There are other elements of the show where Horton Haters (you should see what the monkeys can do with their bananas!) tried to bring him down by destroying whatever he believed in and the people in Whoville laughing at the fact that there are bigger creatures outside the realms of their own world. It is as if one’s trying to convince a large group of atheist that there is a supreme being up there and he’s watching our every move which made the story even more entertaining and believable. I truly enjoyed the movie and I think every character in the story made the ticket worthwhile. If you’re up for an educational ride, bringing you back to where you were once a kid with values you lived by, go watch it. And another reason why you must catch the film? Because, “A person is a person, no matter how small”. WINKS.
Oh before I forget, try to get into the theatre earlier to catch the sneak of Ice Age 3 that will be coming soon at all theatres in a somewhat… near future? Ok, April OUT! (Too much American Idol) See you!

April: Movie Reviews - Juno (Debut)
Ladies & Gentlemen, allow me to introduce to you:
Enjoy.

How do I start? Ok, let’s start with ‘hi, I am....’ you know what forget it. I’m just new to this whole ‘plan’ good ol’ MuHu came up with and I thought it was a fantastic idea to maybe, you know, be a flick critic. (I know some of you readers out there desperately need an opinion) Well, so let’s start with one of the latest flicks I’ve caught – Juno. I lost count how many Oscars nominations they’ve got and how many they actually brought home; you can double check with MuHu for that matter. Well, in my books, it wasn’t exactly ALL that fantastic.
I’ve been a fan of Ellen Page since Hard Candy, The X-men (yes, she was the shadow cat! Meow!) and Mouth to mouth. She’s a breath of fresh air and I think she’s a rising star while the Olsen sisters or Lindsay Lohan take drugs and lose all the weight. Ellen Page is the girl to look out for in the coming years.
Before I carry on, Juno in a nutshell – An unexpected pregnancy left Juno MacGuff to make a huge decision whether to keep or abort until she found a young and childless couple whom she thought would make great parents to her unborn child and the story unfolds while Juno learnt that things don’t stay pretty forever and they’re not always what it seemed.
To sum Juno up with one word, I’d say – Cute. Who knows maybe Juno will open up the market for investors to cash in for low budget independent well-written films in the near future? Let’s just wait and see. Meanwhile just make do with the fluffs and make-believes. (:
XOXO,
