YEEEEEELLLLOOOOOOOOOOOO GUYS!
So I see Muhu writing his own movie review on good ol' Ironman, I decided I better start contributing before my ass gets kicked real hard. Work has taken its toll on me, so I apologise for my absence. But I hope all's well for you cracked readers out there, enjoying the public holiday and it's saturday again! Time to party. BUT! Before you head down the swankiest club in town, let me share with you two movies I've caught over 2 weeks.Definitely, Maybe. - Starred with Ryan Reynolds (the guy who used to shag Alanis Morrissette and currently sleeping with Scarlett Johansson. Beat that, guys. Not that Alanis was really hot but YURH.) Isla Fisher, Rachel Weisz and Elizabeth Banks.
The film started off with Reynold's as William Hayes trying to explain his impending divorce with his wife to their daughter Maya and also about his past relationships, about how he became he was today. Reynolds relived his younger days where he was an aspiring politician who left his highschool sweetheart and moved to New York City to pursue his politician career. He was an ideallistic young man who soon got to realise that things werent what he expected. As the story unfolds, Maya (daughter) gets to know alot more about her father and guessed who her real mother was from the 3 beautiful women who left an impact in her father's life before she came along. And Maya tried to help her father that it's not too late to go back in time and possibly find a happy ending.
Definitely, Maybe is entertaining and highly enjoyable especially when Abigail Breslin is such a gem to watch. She's a rising star, possibly. We've still gotta watch her more. Quite predictable but also it keeps guessing whether you were right.
I liked how the show had three different types of woman - A blonde, a redhead and a brunette. And also the 3 different types of must-have kinda women that could most likely appear in your life.
A - the highschool sweetheart whom you'd definitely date and eventually get married to.
B - the bestfriend and confidante whom you'd want to share your ups and downs with.
C - the ideal girlfriend, hot, smart and extremely sexy.
I'd tell you the movie will keep you guessing till the end but IF you thought you got the answer correct, think again. Sometimes life has its own way to surprise you. Enjoy this flick, bring a date if you have to but most of all, ask yourself if you've missed out some chances in life that you could have done it again, would you? If there were things you could have said to someone you truly liked and couldn't live without, would you use this chance to turn back time and say what you have to?
Yes, time waits for no man. But there are always second chances. ;)
