MuHu~!
Birthdays are always joyful events. The definition of the word itself is actually self-explanatory: The day of one's birth. When you grow older, the meaning changes from 'the day of birth' to 'the anniversary of birth'. People tend to hold celebrative events on their birthdays, such as birthday parties or dinners. Now here's the question:
Do people actually celebrate birthdays to commemorate their birth?
When we organise birthday events as 'birthday guys and girls', we tend to attempt special and convivial activities so that those who attend your birthday celebration will have a wonderful and memorable time. After all, it's just like an annual festival, as most of us locals will tend to say: one year one time (derivative of hokkein phrase - jit nee jit pai).
The truth behind birthday celebration is very simple: Jubilant cohesion. Having a great time with your family, friends and loved ones is all that matters. If I can have it my way, I will wish for everyday to be my birthday - so that we can always have joyous celebration all year round!
Happy birthday to Desmond my friend! Thanks for the treat at Astons Specialities on Saturday, I really enjoyed the ieat Super Burger! Here's some photos that I took with my cellphone that day:
