MuHu: Gastronomy - E-Donuts

MuHu~!
.

One of our people's favourite pastime that coincidentally forms a vital image of our nation's identity in the eyes of foreign visitors and tourists.
.
Did the answer flashed without hesitation upon the sight of the sentence above?
.
No? Try harder... it's really not that difficult. If you still cannot get it, take a look at our agenda title heading then. (I'm sorry but to declare you a loser if you really have to resort to that! MuHu~!)
.
YES! It's F-O-O-D, FOOD! In the glorious benefit of our nation, we are so blessed and spoilt by the variety of gastronomic delights all over the island. Speaking of which, who will be able to ignore the rising of the donut culture that's been taking over us by storm recently? With several brand names and outlets from each of the brand names dishing out innovative and attractive donuts aimed at the young and hip at heart, not even the traditional ah-soh or ah-chek can jalan the heartland town centres in peace without avoiding any of the several donut shops that spring up so rapidly. There's possibly, and probably, a higher chance of hearing one of these senior heartland heroes asking to another,"Eh, ai buey lornart deng chu jiak mai?" than hearing them exercise their all-time favourite local greeting,"Ler jiak bah buey?". Scary.
.
Anyway, since we can't be spared the effects of the donut revolution, we might as well follow the tide and see what we can find in it? Therefore, MSR shall be riding the tide for today's agenda to bring you a special on the donut culture scene here! I've been trying out the various donut chains ever since the crowd-seeking donut craze that began in the basement of Raffles City Shopping Centre. I've concluded the following delicious finding: E-Donuts serves to constantly strike at my heart as the best donut-chain which I will want to patronize for any cravings! Have a look at their selection:
.

Donuts are going at varying prices between $1.10 to $1.50 per piece. Glaze donuts are going at $6.00 for a small box (6 pcs) and $10.00 for a large box (12 pcs), while assorted ones are going at $7.00 for a small box (6 pcs) and $12.00 for a large box (12 pcs). There're currently 2 outlets: Orchard Meridien Hotel & IMM

MSR's Recommendation: Go for the assorted donuts, especially those with fillings! The donuts with fillings will be your only excuse to travel down since it's really sinfully fabulous! Some of the favourites include - Cappuccino, Tiramisu, Lemon Cheese.
.
I shall be posting again.
