MuHu~!
6th September is a great day, exclusive only to the editorial team of 'MuHu Son's Realm'. It's a historical moment for the pen of this blog, and thus it's declared as a prestigious event of the year for this blog - MuHu Day! This shall also mark the first MuHu Day in the history of MSR, so enjoy this exclusive post for today!
So it's decided, that 7th September (Friday) would be the day where celebration's to be held. First segment's at the Bedok Blk 85 Market! Feasting took place for 9 friends (in no preferential order: Roger, Jayesh, Chong Liang & Yenli, Ho Chi, Qing Quan, Desmond & Cherlynn, Shiwei) although 11 was the intended number (Andy and Gabriel). Delicacies like Fried Egg Omelette with Prawn, Hotplate Tofu, Sambal Kang Kong, Baby Kailan, Spicy Thai Chicken, Sweet & Sour Pork Ribs, Chilli Crab & Butter Crab were served to these guests. I noticed the look on the faces at intervals throughout the dinner and derived the general impression of happiness and joy instilled in them. That really pleased me, as every smile and laughter that came from everyone of them infused shots of joy and satisfaction in my heart. The food didn't matter, and neither did the place. The company and cohesion contributed to become the significant factor to me that night. We might have always regarded a birthday to be a personal affair, but to the birthday boy it would never be complete without the presence of his friends and loved ones.
What's a birthday without a gift? Well said. After several refusing motion to the idea of a gift, it still managed to surface and rest upon my palms in the form of a colourful wrapped box. As i opened the box to discover the contents of it ...
AHHH! Wasn't this the portable hard disk that I accompanied Chong Liang, Yenli and Roger to buy at SLS?
I've never thought about the possibility of that hard disk ultimately turning into my birthday gift! Oh My... Wait, there's more?! Providing the icing on the wonderful cake was a printed card with everyone's well wishes and comments hand-written on it! Now all these simultaneous surprises had really moved me. Every comment on the card seemed to be spoken out loud as I imagined everyone of them saying his or her comments aloud in my imagination. I've never thought how a birthday card could be so powerful as a gift!
Next segment followed at Katong as we intended to go for a KTV session, but alas! The KTV place was fully booked for the night. So, off we strolled down the street to the Old Hong Kong Cafe. Let see some of the captured highlights and moments!

After chilling out at Old Hong Kong Cafe, the guys moved on to a game of DOTA. Poor ladies, had to wait around while we guys were at it. I took a few casual look towards them during the game and noticed them chatting, so I guessed it wasn't all that bad? A really enjoyable day for me, and hopefully for all my friends as well!
