Friday Night: timbre @ The Arts House

Finally, a chill-out on a Friday night! I have been waiting for a nice proper night with the guys for a long time, my desire is finally justifiably satisfied! With the raving reviews from the media and friends, we decided to drop by timbre @ The Arts House which is situated near Indochine @ Empress Place. Join me as I share the night's experience with you!

Timbre is currently operating two outlets. The pioneer concept: timbre @ The Sub Station, was hatched and boasted excellent live band music as well as acoustic pop, rock, jazz sets. With the imminent success they have achieved with their strong music attribute, they have set up a second outlet: timbre @ The Arts House.

Upon settling down at a table, the five of us noticed a constant cool breeze present. Some of us had mistaken it for natural wind, while it was actually electric fans that provided the enjoyable breeze! Not a bad idea to include such services especially since timbre is alfresco themed.

After further enquiry from one of the waiting staff, we realized that their Happy Hour was running from 6 - 9 pm. Since we arrived at 8.40 pm, we took no hesitation in deciding and ordering our drinks!

One of the resident bands/groups of timbre, The Goodfellas, started their performance at about 9.45pm. They entertain every Wednesday and Friday nights, and they are pretty good! It can be seen that they're earning a rather adamant status in timbre with their fabulous music as they're the only group performing on two nights a week.

Songs after songs, we're all intoxicated by both their music and the drinks. We agreed unanimously that they're seriously good. Their music brightened up our night and contributed to a good chill-out for us! Kudos to timbre!
